Step1
Open a new Photoshop file with 250x200 px dimensions. Make the colour of background white and the color of filling black with SHIFT-(D). Draw a line at the 1 px thickness like beside.

When The Layer belong to the line is selected, click on Fitler > Noise > Add Noise.

Just after that, click on CTRL+(T) or Edit > Transform > Scale. Keep it on the point indicated with blue arrow beside and drag it above with the aid of SHIFT button until you get the Picture beside.

Step 1
Create a new document 400 x 300px and fill it will black. Type the text in "Edwardian Script ITC", font-size 160 pt. Then, Go to the path palette and press the Make work path from selection button.

Now the text is a path it is posible to stroke it with the brush. But before that you need to change the brush options.

Step 3

Now the brush is ready to stroke the text. Go to the layer palette and delete text layer or make it invisible. Make a new layer. Set white as the foreground color. Go to the path palette and right click om the Work Path and choose Stroke path. In the window that now appears choose for Brush and make sure Simulate pressure is not checked. The stroke is a little to hard to make this better: Change in the brushes palette the following options: Brush Tip Size: Diameter to 4px and Spacing to 130%. Scattering: Scatter 600% Stroke the path again but this time with the option Simulate pressure checked. Click in the palette path on an empty area. That way the path becomes inactive.

Step 4
Go to the layer palette and double click on the layer miniature of the sparkles layer to open the layer style window. Go to Drop Shadow and change the values as shown below:

Create a 40x40 pixel image, then create a new layer by going to Layer -> New -> Layer. Take your Elliptical Marquee tool (you can press M to select it) and make a circle selection somewhat smaller then the entire image. Make your foreground color some bright green, example #86EE21. Choose your Gradient Tool and change its setting to "Radial Gradient"

Now right click your layer with your image on it and go to "Blending Options", then add these settings

Once done, now we will get to the logo in the middle, start by creating a new layer and go to your Elliptical Marquee tool. Then make a selection that is a bit smaller then the image you made and center it up. Then change your Elliptical tool settings to "Subtract from Selection" and make a selection in the middle of the circle you already created but a bit smaller

Now merge the two layers with images on them by clicking the top layer and go to Layer -> Merge Down. Your image should now look like this:

Blue-Orb Effect

Step 1

Open up a new document with 300×250 pixels, transparent background. Fill the background up with black, #000000. We’ll be starting off with the orb base color next, from darkest blue to white. Click on the foreground color and replace the current color to #000066. Create a new layer named “Orb Base” and select the brush tool.

Select a brighter blue, #3399ff for the foreground color and click your mouse once on top of the previous 2 base colors.Adjust the diameter by right clicking on your canvas and turn the hardness all the way down to 0%. We’ll be using 120 pixels for the master diamter in this tutorial. Go ahead and left click the mouse once on the canvas.

Click on your forgound color and select a lighter blue, #0000cc using the color picker. Tune down the master diameter a little bit smaller. Click your mouse once on top of the previous base color.

Select a much brighter blue, #99ccff for the foreground color using the color picker and click your mouse once again on top of the previous 3 base colors.

Click on your forgound color and select white, #ffffff. Tune down the master diameter a little bit smaller and click your mouse once on top of all the previous base color. The following result is shown with the optional step added in.

Step 2

Select the smudge tool and turn your master diameter up to around 39 pixels for this tutorial.

The next step require some practice supposedly this is your first time using the smudge tool. Click and hold the left button inside the orb base colors while moving your mouse to drag out the tail.Then,click and hold the left button on the inner tail while dragging your mouse to increase the length of the tail. Repeat and play around until you get the desired tail.Good Luck^^

Creating Swirls Effect

Create a new canvas. On a new layer, use the to make a circle and fill it with white.
Hold the CTRL Key and click on the Circle Layer. Then choose Select > Modify > Contract. Choose 20 pixels and delete the inside.

Next, distort the ring by choosing Edit > Transform > Distort. It doesn't have to look exactly like the one shown at the left.

Then, Hold the CTRL Key and click on the Ring (Circle) layer. Choose Select > Modify > Contract and choose 1 pixel. After which, Choose Select > Modify > Feather and choose 10 pixels.

Step1

First, create a new image, 400x400 pixels and fill the background with the color that you like.

Use Type Tool [T] to create text that you want to make look like metal. For the best result use large text, e.g. size 75+.

The color of the text does not matter so fill it with any random color.

Now is the time to add Inner Bevel to your shape. Right click on the text layer and select Blending Options...

Making Vortex Effect

STEP1

Start with a new document (white background), around 640 x 480.

On the background layer, with a brush (around 17 pixels) draw some lines like shown...

Apply Filter > Blur > Radial Blur. Amount 100%, Type - Zoom, Quality - Best.

STEP3

Apply Filter > Stlize > Find Edges and repeat Step 2.

Now Image > Adjustments > Invert and draw a white star or an X in the middle.

STEP4

Then, repeat Step 3 again. With this done, goto Image > Adjustments > Color Balance and play around with those bars until you find a colour you like.

STEP5

Now try Filter > Distort > Twirl and set that at about 90 degrees.

It is done!

Create a new 640x480 pixels document with white background. Use the "Horizontal Type Tool"(T) and type anything you want. You should use blue text color.
Right click on "Tutorial" layer and select "Duplicate Layer".

Step 2:
Next Click on the "Move Tool"(V) and select "edit -> transform -> rotate 180" then "Flip Horizontal"
Click on the "Move Tool" again. A dialog box will appear to ask you confirm the transformation, click "Apply". Move the transformed layer near the original layer

Now click on "Add Layer Mask" beneath the "Layers" tab to add a mask to our transformed layer.

- Select elliptical marquee by holding the left mouse button on the marquee tool

- Set the foreground color to light blue, select the radial gradient tool and edit button to design our very own reflecting sphere gradient.

- now use the often overlooked Paint Daubs filter found under Artistic filters. Select Filter > Artistic > Paint Daubs, and apply the filter with the following settings:

- Brush Size: 15
- Sharpness: 5
- Brush Type: Sparkle

step1:
create new layer with size 400x400 pixel, and choose black color. now use Ellipse Tool(U) to make circle.

step2:
Use the polygon lasso tool and click out a blast beam selection in perspective like you see here.Make sure it's on it's own layer. Fill it with a good bolt color...light blues, purples, greens and reds are good. Make sure it's a bright color high on the saturation.
Apply a gaussian blur to each layer. Play with the settings... We used a 2.5 pixel blur...you may need less or more depending on the size of your picture.
This technique also makes a good light saber

If you have layer photoshop not higher you can apply the "OuterGlow" layer effect to the lightning layer. Use the eyedropper to select the outer glow color from the beam itself and then you're done.
On another new blank layer, grab your paintbrush, set it to 1 pixel, 100% opacity, normal blendingmode and brush out some lightning forks along the beam.

Making Lotus Colour

STEP1
Create a new document. In this case 450px x 450px.
Chose a nice background color.
Draw a nice piece of leaf, or use the leaf in custom shapes. Color it in white

STEP2
Cut of the twig, if you are using the custom shape. Use the erase tool.
Mark the leaf with the Magic Wand Tool. Or hold ctrl and press the leaf layer
Go to Select > Feather, set a radius of 5px and press ok. Then fill it with the same color as your background color.
Now, duplicate the leaf as many times as you want. Spread them out, rotate and increase or decrease them in size by using the transform tool (ctrl + t)

STEP3
Now, merge the leaf-layers in to one layer. Select The Magic Wand Tool and klik Layer -> Layer Style -> Stroke...

If you have done this right, it should look similar to this.

Liquid Emboss Photoshop Text Effect

Create a new 640x480 RGB file with black background and create a title using Blue text. You can use this color #2fc1fe. Center it on the page.

STEP 2
Duplicate the layer.Now, we will be adding a few effects to the layer.

First apply an Inner Shadow with these values.
Now we will apply a Bevel.

STEP 3
Now, load the selection by going to Select > Load Selection and then go to Select > Modify > Border - Use the value 15
Create a new layer and stroke it with 2 pixels.

Go to filter > Stylize > Wind - One from Left and One from Right

Making Flame Effect

Start a new RGB document (size around 640x480) filled with black background.

Use the type tool and create a new text in WHITE and position the text centered in the lower half of the document.

Now roate the new layer 90CW. (Edit->Transform->Rotate 90CW)

Now apply the Wind Filter to this new layer (Filter->Styleize->Wind)
Method: Wind, Direction: From the Left.

Press CTRL+F 3 times to reapply the filter 3 more times.
Now rotate the image back to normal: Edit->Transform->Rotate 90CCW

Now go to Image->Hue/Saturation
Check the "Colorize" Box. Set Hue to 40 and Saturation to 100
Now apply some Hue saturation to the new duplicated layer:
Now set the duplicated layer's blending mode to: Color Dodge

Now go to Layer->Merge Down To merge the 2 layers together.

Now to create our flames, we go to Filter->Liquidfy. Now with the Warp tool selected, set brush size to between 40 and 50, and brush pressure to around 40 to 45.

Now just click and drag from the white edge of the text to wiggle your way into the orange to create the flame.
Next, change your brush size to about 30, and pressure to about 30, and go for 2nd round of creating your flame, hit OK.

Now move the original text layer to the top on the layers pallete, and change it's color to black.

Now go to Layer->Rasterize->Type to rasterize the text layer. Now use the Add layer mask, and erase out the top half of the text.

Now, if you want to create a reflection, do a selection about half of the bottom part of the flame.

Making Smoke Effect

STEP 1

open a new image, it doesn’t really matter what size but be sure to set your background color to black. (this effect generally looks its best on a black background.) Make a new layer and select the "Polygonal lasso tool" and create an abstract shape that looks similar to the example below

Now we can start our highlights of our smoke. Select the "Dodge" tool and make the brush size around "50" and the "Range" to "highlights." Now use this tool around the edges and corners of your shape. Next, select the "Burn tool" and use it in the middle and wherever you see fit.

STEP 3

Here we can make it look like smoke now. Go to "filter"/"Distort"/"Wave." And make the settings as follows:
- Generators "5"
- Wavelength "10"/"120"
- Amplitude "5"/"35"
- Scale at "100%" for both.

you have used the "wave" filter you can go to "Edit"/"Fade-Wave" and set the opacity to "50%." Now repeat this distort and fade method many times, or until you think it looks best.

To make this effect look even better you may have to "distort", resize, and change the blending modes when fading a bit. And lastly, to make it different colors instead of the same throughout. make a new layer and use the "brush" tool all over the place using different colors.

Making Text Neon

STEP 1

Create a new document 400x400, Fill it with black paint.

Using white as your text colour, type your words of choice. This works for most fonts, I used Lucida Calligraphy. I set the font size to 100pt

STEP 2

Click the (f) in the layers pallet down bottom and click blending options. Set the fill opacity to 0, like pictured.

STEP 3

In the blending options window, Click outer glow and apply the settings pictured.
and then click stroke and apply the settings as pictured.

Your final image should look very much like mine. (You can use pretty much any colour you like, Just modify the gradient to match.)

The Photoshop Sketch Effect

STEP 1

The most important part of this photoshop tutorial is choosing the right photo. In my opinion, I found the photoshop sketch effect looked best on a high-contrast image with a simple background. Anyways, once you decide what image you want to use, Duplicate the layer.

You now want to Desaturate the newly created layer

Image » Adjustments » Desaturate

STEP 2

Once your image has been Desaturated, duplicate the layer.

You should now have three layers - (1) Color & (2) Desaturated Layers

This new duplicated layer should now be located above your Desaturated layer on the layer palette. We will now Invert this layer.

To do this you must have the new layer selected, and then go:

Image » Adjustments » Invert

Your result should be similar to the image on the above.

STEP 3

Now, with the Inverted Layer selected, you must change the Blending Mode to “Color Dodge.” If your image just turned all white with a few black specks or lines, don’t worry. Thats what you want it to do. Now, you will go add a Gaussian Blur to the inverted layer.

Filter » Blur » Gaussian Blur

Now, you must choose what size pixels to set your Radius Blur to. This all depends on your image, but for this particular image, I choose 5px.

In this tutorial I will show you how to change eye color.
We will get eyes like this:

Get a picture, something where the eyes stick out a bit more. I will be using this picture of my pet. It is perfect for this tutorial. Make sure that the picture you are using is a layer, not the background.

We'll take a picture where the eyes are shown very well. It's very important because the more qualitative the picture is, the better effects will be. It's desirable that the eyes should be light-colored. If they are brown then we'll use the instrument Dodge tool and make them lighter.

Choose from the instruments panel a brush having approximate dimensions as the eyes (hardness 30%). On mouse click and we'll put the circles on the eyes.

Now on the same layer choose the color regime. The eyes become lighter.

Create a Mirror Image

This will be easy and painless. It works in ALL versions of Photoshop and Photoshop Elements:
1. Open the picture which you have
2. Duplicate -> a copy of the layer you wish to mirror
3. Flip -> Select Menu Edit > Transform > Flip Horizontal and your image will flip to mirror the original image
4. Select Menu: Image > Canvas Size and then set the WIDTH to double the file size, then click the 'Map' below to position the newly added space in the right direction
5. Finish the Creation - Now just use the Move tool and move the images to mirror position. Touch up the edges, using the Smudge tool, Clone tool or any of the others, and that's all there is to it.

Curves is an advanced tonal control that is a favorite with experienced users and offers the most accurate contrast, color and brightness adjustments of any Photoshop feature. Its dialog has a graph with vertical and horizontal scales representing input and output brightness. When you first open this you’ll see a straight line running through the graph at 45° from the bottom left to the top right. The bottom left represents the shadow area, top right is highlights and the midpoint is midtones. You can drag the line by clicking on it and holding down as you move the mouse. Moving the midpoint up has a lightening effect and down darkens the image. Use the Eyedropper tool and click anywhere on the image and its Brightness value will appear as a point on the line. You can then move this point up or down to darken or lighten that part of the image. The picture will

Look natural, providing you create either a straight line or an arc. The best results are usually achieved with a very shallow shaped curve, and is the reason why it’s called Curves.
